Recently I had the chance to head back to Michigan for a big life experience. If you know anything about me, it is that I am plagued with car problems. Like, it’s ridiculous the issues I’ve been navigating the last 6 months. But I suppose that’s what I get for having an old car. Literally, my car was my grandmothers, then my dad drove it, my brother, and then it became mine. So my boat on wheels, also known as a 2001 Mercury Sable, has had quite the life.
Considering the growing pile of car issues, it quickly became time for a new vehicle. I was thinking a gently used vehicle that was a few years old. After many hours of hunting, discussing, planning, and researching Alex’s Dad suggested I consider a new vehicle. Why? Well, used prices are higher then they have ever been and the issues I was currently dealing with, it was just a short amount of time until I would end up noticing them again. So I pay more but in the end I have the security of no issues for a longer amount of time!
And so, after many intense weeks of discussion, getting in contact with a dealership, and figuring out financing and insurance, this happened. 🙂 Unfortunately my Sable never made it back to Michigan. It literally died 2 days before our trip and had to be scrapped.
