Oh man, going into Allison and Tony’s day, I knew it was going to be a long, but fun day… especially after shooting a wedding the day before. But I didn’t really realize how much fun we were going to have until Allison walked into the suite! When we walked in we noticed it was Lincoln themed, let me also mention the wedding was in Springfield, the capital of Illinois. So definitely fitting. Needless to say we had fun with the rooms special design… aka the row of Lincoln hats, and the Warhol inspired Lincoln heads. Yeah. It was amazing and Allison was all about incorporating it!
Before I knew it, it was time to head up to meet Tony and take pictures of him getting ready. I arrived to Tony in his shirt, shoes and pants, and waiting to put on his bow tie. Well this is where things got hilarious… Tony didn’t know how to tie a bow tie. But guess who did? So seconds later I’m tying his bow tie and my hands are seriously shaking like a leaf, for WHATEVER reason I was terrified that I was tying the grooms bow tie! I had done it maybe a month prior at a senior shoot and was fine but tying a grooms bow tie… that for whatever reason rattled my nerves. Regardless, I did it, no problem, and impressed both Tony and his Mom. Thankfully his Dad and brothers bow ties were clip-on’s!
The entirety of Allison and Tony’s day was beautiful, from the ceremony they shared, to the humorous time shooting photos with their friends and family, and the hilarious dance moves displayed at the reception. I know you two are going to spend years together full of laughter, happiness, and love.

OH MY GOODNESS ALLISON! <3 I'm so glad I was able to take part in your amazing day. Hopefully Tony remembers to bend his knees! ha 🙂 That was my parting advice to him when he left the hotel room.
