There are many things on a wedding day that I can plan for. But there is one, unfortunate thing I can guarantee — something will go wrong, big or small. Hayley’s? Well it was that the wedding planner hid the wedding dress and details so the groom wouldn’t accidentally see them! Woops! She knew the groom would be getting ready there too and didn’t want him to walk into the getting ready room and see them. Hilariously enough when Chris DID arrive, he quickly told us Hayley forbid him from going into the room the bride was getting ready in because her dress was in there. Needless to say, he ended up getting ready in there and we later would hunt down her dress from it’s super secret hiding spot!
Of course nothing we can’t handle right? A tag team of shooting the dress + details, and rings between Kara, Meghan and I and we handled it like nothing happened out of the ordinary! [Insert: how lucky I am to second shoot under the fabulous Kara of Kara Kamienski Photography and her never ending teachings of how to handle the hiccups!] The rest of Hayley’s and Chris’ day went by swiftly and quickly! Let me just say that shooting around Kickapoo Creek is GORGEOUS and it was my first time shooting there after a year plus of shooting weddings.
Hayley and Chris’ ceremony was a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their friends and family. It was full of love, smiles, and the warmth of a beautiful day. Congratulations to the two of you, and here’s to many more years of happiness and love!
